A red 1922 Dodge Brothers Touring arriving at and leaving Arcadia Park during the 2021 Holiday Motor Excursion.

Many companies are named after their founders, and if there are two people involved, both last names are used with a hyphen in the middle. But what if you have two founders with the same last name? Most kids today doing burnouts in their Challengers have no idea that in the beginning there were actually two Dodges - the Dodge Brothers. To be fair, at first I didn't know either. But that's why I love seeing old cars and learning about their history. This car was a true Dodge, built when it was an independent company prior to Chrysler ownership. It's not hard to find plenty of Fords at antique car events, but this is one of the only Dodge Brothers car of this era I've ever seen, and I'm glad its owner frequently brings it out to events for others to appreciate.

Would you choose this car over a Ford Model T? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
