Black 2024 McLaren 750S Spider (w/ startup)
A black 2024 McLaren 750S Spider starting up and leaving the Bugatti Newport Beach (Newport Beach Automotive Group) Hyper Car Show.
It's quite amazing how many people are buying the "new" 750S given how similar it is to the 720S that first appeared in 2017. But that testifies to how well the design has aged and how much the new car has improved beneath its skin. Black is a can't-go-wrong color for most cars, and in the McLaren's case, it masks the numerous contrasting black vents in favor of a more streamlined look. Since I happened to be right behind this car when the owner was starting it up, I couldn't help but want to catch the sound of that glorious twin-turbocharged V8 engine. And yes, a kid at the end called me out for also using a "vintage cam". I'm glad I'm not the only one basking in the wonders of pre-smartphone technology.
