Blu Cepheus McLaren 765 LT Spider (w/ startup)

A rare 2022 McLaren 765LT Spider, one of 765 765LT Spiders built, arriving at and leaving The Supercar Social at Newport Beach Automotive Group. This example is finished in blue (Blu Cepheus) with blue exposed carbon fiber accents.

Trying to remember all of McLaren's alphanumeric car names can be no less confusing than trying to identify the cars based on their small visual distinctions. But most enthusiasts agree that outside of the hypercar realm, the 765LT is king of the McLaren lineup, especially in Spider form. For starters, the 765LT is the upgraded, track-oriented version of the successful 720S and is most easily identified by its added aero bits and quad center exhausts. Blue is a popular choice for the 720/765, and this example adds a touch of uniqueness with blue tinted carbon fiber accents. For reasons beyond my knowledge, the owner opted to drive right past the McLaren parking area and join all the Lamborghinis instead. But given he already has both this car and a Ferrari SF90 Stradale (also in blue), it probably doesn't hurt to shop for a new Lambo too!
