Brand New 2023 Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica

A brand new white 2023 Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica arriving at and leaving Cars and Coffee at Finish Line Auto Club. Introduced in April 2022, the Tecnica slots between the Huracán Evo and the track-focused Huracán STO. It is powered by the same 631-horsepower naturally-aspirated V10 engine as the STO and features revised styling focused on aerodynamic efficiency.

Another day, another Huracan variant. Having already introduced coupes, convertibles, track-focused variants, a mid-cycle major refresh, limited editions, and even an off-roader (which was still in development at the time), Lamborghini somehow still manages to milk customers' wallets with yet another iteration of its nine-year-old car. Personally I find the Tecnica's front end design a bit too busy, though Lamborghini didn't really have much of a choice given it had already exhausted pretty much every possible option of further updating the Huracan. The rear looks pretty good, and Lamborghini continues doing a great job of implementing its hexagon design motif throughout the car, even on the wheels. It sure is fun watching those hexagons spin as the car cruises by!

This is the first Tecnica I've seen, and I'm very curious whether they will become as popular as previous Huracan variants. With the long-awaited Huracan replacement due to arrive next year, I imagine many potential buyers would rather save their money for the brand new model. Then again, with everything going electric or hybrid, maybe this car will be unique as among the last of its kind. Only time will tell whether the Tecnica will get lost in a vast sea of Huracan variants or become one of the most desirable iterations.
