A yellow (Giallo Triplo Strato) 2019 Ferrari 812 Superfast with black (Nero) interior arriving at and leaving Cars and Chronos at Hing Wa Lee Plaza.

Okay, let's begin with the elephant in the room. ""Superfast"" sounds like something you'd see on a colorful decal on a 1980's remote-controlled toy car. From the day the Ferrari 812 was introduced, its name has been the subject of numerous jokes. But for those who don't know, the name is a reference to the 500 Superfast introduced in 1964, also a V12-powered grand tourer. And back in the 1960's, calling a car ""super fast"" was actually cool.

With that said, the 812 Superfast is certainly an incredible machine, complete with 789-hp Ferrari V12 power and classic grand tourer proportions. I personally think its styling is a great improvement over the F12. It will be interesting to see how Ferrari plans to eventually replace the 812 in its lineup, since the company now appears to be focused on developing hybrid powertrains but has yet to introduce a hybrid model with the engine in front of the cabin. Considering this car traces its roots all the way back to the legendary 250, I think it's safe to say a replacement is certainly in the works. But until we receive any official news from Maranello, one important question remains - if this car is ""super fast"", what the heck the next one going to be?

Do you think the 812 will be Ferrari's last non-electrified V12 grand tourer? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
