Lotus Emira First Edition w/ John Player Special Livery Wrap
A custom 2024 Lotus Emira V6 First Edition from Zero2Sixty arriving at and leaving Cars and Chronos at Hing Wa Lee Plaza. This car has been modified with aftermarket aero components and a matte black wrap with gold accents inspired by Lotus' John Player Special (JPS) race cars. Lotus has used the iconic Formula One livery on several factory special edition models, including the Evora Sport 410 GP Edition and the new European-market Emira Limited introduced a week ago.
You may recall a video I posted in June of a gloss black Emira parking at the exact same spot during the last Cars and Chronos event. Well, guess what, this is the exact same car. I got to chat with the owner of the then one-day-old car at the June event and was informed that it wouldn't remain stock for long. Sure enough, it now has a fresh new look - one that Lotus fans will instantly recognize. The funny thing is I think this wrap actually looks better than Lotus' own JPS-themed limited edition Emira. The gold accents really bring out the car's lines and complement the wheels. The gloss black roof and subtle aero bits are nice finishing touches, too. Aside from the graffiti-style graphic on the rear bumper that looks glaringly out of place, this is an excellent interpretation of a historically significant Lotus racing livery on the company's latest sports car.
Do you think this custom wrap looks better than the JPS-themed Emira Limited that Lotus just released? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
