A couple month ago I caught my first Huracan Tecnica and wondered whether the new Huracan variant would be popular among buyers given that the Huracan is already nearly a decade old and its all-new successor is expected to arrive next year. Well, it seems like I've found the answer already. I spent an afternoon in Beverly Hills and spotted numerous examples of the Tecnica - probably no less than any other Huracan variant. And given how new it still is, chances are it will become even more common as more cars arrive at dealerships. Maybe buyers simply want whatever newest model is available and have enough money to get whatever they want. (It's Beverly Hills, after all!) Or maybe they find the car's technical improvements compelling enough to justify trading in their older models. Or maybe they believe that, since the Huracan replacement will have a hybrid powertrain, this car represents a good investment as the last of its kind. Either way, it's clear dealers have no problem finding people to hand off keys to.

I personally like this example more than the previous one I filmed (which was white); I find the Tecnica's front end styling a bit forced compared to that of previous Huracan variants, and the black paint does a good job of concealing it while maintaining the car's sleek profile. As more Tecnicas start hitting the streets, it will be interesting to see the variety of specs that owners will choose.
