New Sabbia Desertum 2024 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato
A rare new 2024 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, one of 1,499 Sterratos being built, leaving South OC Cars and Coffee at the Outlets at San Clemente. This car, finished in Ad Personam Sabbia Desertum (Italian for "Desert Sand") with Verde Sterrato Alcantara interior with Sabbia Nefertem stitching, was delivered to its owner in September 2024 through Lamborghini Newport Beach.
I'm surprised at how much the Sterrato has grown on me and how well it manages to differentiate itself from every other Huracan variant. I still think that, when specced in the more typical everybody-look-at-me Lambo colors, it looks a bit tacky with all of its trail-blazing add-ons. But give it a more earthy tone like this, and it looks like a purpose-built off-road rocket that couldn't care less about its relationship to the decade-old Huracan. The combination of this Sterrato's unique exterior color and its interior trim reminds me of camouflage patterns more commonly seen on Humvees and military uniforms. Who would have thought it could look so good on a Lambo?
