A 2022 Porsche 911 (992) Turbo S Cabriolet inspired by the 991.2 Turbo S Exclusive Series Cabriolet opening its top and leaving Cars 'N Copters on the Coast at Huntington City Beach. This bespoke car is finished in Paint-to-Sample Nordic Gold Metallic and features numerous Exclusive Manufaktur options including the 911 Turbo SportDesign Package, Double Stripe Decal on Front Trunk Lid in Grey, Cabriolet Roof in Black with Double Stripes in Grey, 20"/21" Turbo S Exclusive Design wheels in High Gloss Black, and Sport Exhaust System. The interior is optioned with Extended Dashboard and Door Panel Package in Leather and Deviated Stitching Interior Package in Orange.

I have to admit this car had me fooled. I immediately recognized the spec as a rare factory special edition, but it wasn't until much later that I remembered the Exclusive Series was actually based on the previous-generation Turbo S. I don't know the story behind this particular car, but my best guess is that the owner has an Exclusive Series 991.2 Turbo S and wanted a new 992 to match it. And Porsche, with its seemingly endless personalization capabilities, gladly agreed (and charged a hefty premium for it). I'm not sure why the owner didn't stick with the Exclusive Series' Golden Yellow Metallic; maybe the folks in Stuttgart didn't like the idea of building an exact clone. Either way, since 911 styling hasn't really changed all that much, this spec looks just as incredible on the 992 as it did on the factory special. Aside from the gorgeous paint-to-sample color, look closely and you'll notice numerous design details that mimic those found on the Exclusive Series cars. My favorite is the striped convertible top - a small detail that looks incredible alongside the striped bodywork. It's amazing that someone would go to such great lengths to have a bespoke car inspired by a recent factory special, and it looks so good that I would actually love to see Porsche build a few more examples as a new 992 Exclusive Series. But as it stands, this is a one-off creation - one that was meticulously envisioned by and built and will certainly remain a prized part of its owner's collection.

Do you think Porsche should build another Exclusive Series based on the 992-generation Turbo S? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
