A very rare 1926 McFarlan Model 154 Twin Valve Six (TV-6) Roadster arriving at and leaving the 2023 Holiday Motor Excursion presented by the Horseless Carriage Club (HCCA) of Southern California. The TV-6 is powered by a 572-cubic-inch six-cylinder engine, the largest displacement American production car engine at the time. This example, chassis no. 23403, was displayed at the 2022 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and is one of less than two dozen McFarlans, including three TV-6 Roadsters, known to still exist.

One of my favorite things about antique car shows is discovering cars from brands that have long been lost in the history books. In the 1920s McFarlan was often described as the "American Rolls-Royce", building some of the most luxurious cars that money could buy. As with other luxury cars of the era, its long hood and generous proportions look incredible in a way no modern car does. And it certainly doesn't hurt that this car has had the honor of gracing the famed Pebble Beach lawn.

Would you choose this McFarlan over a contemporary Rolls-Royce? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
