Rare 1996 Porsche 911 (993) GT2

A rare red 1996 Porsche 911 (993) GT2, one of less than 200 993 GT2 Straßenversions (street cars) built, arriving at and leaving Cars and Coffee at Crystal Cove Shopping Center. Based on the 993 Turbo, the GT2 was built to meet homologation requirements for GT2 class racing and featured a rear wheel drive layout, a modified version of the Turbo's 3.6-liter flat-six engine, and revised bodywork including fender flares and a large rear wing. Considered by many as the ultimate air-cooled Porsche 911, 993 GT2's are now valued at over $1 million.
