Rare Matte White 2024 Porsche 911 S/T
A new rare 2024 Porsche 911 (992) S/T arriving at and leaving Cars and Coffee at Finish Line Auto Club. Introduced in August 2023, the S/T celebrates 60 years of the Porsche 911. It is based on the 911 GT3 Touring and powered by the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine from the GT3 RS producing 518 horsepower mated to a six-speed manual transmission. With a starting price (MSRP) of over $290,000, it features cutouts behind the front wheels similar to the GT3 RS and carbon fiber (CFRP) hood, roof, front fenders, and doors. This example, finished in matte white, is no. 0753 of 1963 911 S/Ts being built.
"What if there were a 911 model that slots between the GT3 and GT3 RS?" "Can Porsche build another expensive special edition 911 variant?" Both of these are questions that nobody asked; the GT3 and GT3 RS are both already so incredibly good at what they do, and the 911 lineup is already notorious for having a mind-boggling number of variants and limited editions. Yet here we are, looking at Porsche's answer to both questions. And once again, Porsche manages to make us look past its confusing model list and numerous money-sucking products by building a car that steals enthusiasts' hearts. More power, classic styling, lightweight materials, manual transmission. The S/T essentially fuses together the best of the driver-oriented GT3 and the flamboyantly styled GT3 RS. Of course, at $50,000 more than an RS it's obscenely overpriced. But as expected, Porsche ties the car to its rich heritage and chooses a cute number to cap production, convincing buyers they're getting their money's worth. And as history has repeatedly proven, that money will turn out to be a great investment.
