Rare RUF CTR "Yellowbird" (w/ startup)
A very rare yellow 1990 Ruf CTR "Yellowbird" arriving at and leaving Cars and Coffee at Finish Line Auto Club. Based on the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2, the CTR ("Group C Turbo Ruf") features aluminum and fiberglass body panels, a modified flat-six engine with twin turbochargers and displacement increased to 3.4 liters, and a five-speed transmission designed by Ruf. With a top speed of over 211 mph, the CTR was the fastest production car in the world until a new record was set by the McLaren F1. This example is one of 29 CTR's originally manufactured by Ruf with Ruf's own VIN. An additional 20-30 examples were converted from customers' Carreras.
