Here's a little something to tickle your ears with. Let me be clear, I don't endorse or encourage revving when it's in close proximity to residences or open businesses; that's exactly the kind of behavior that causes events to be shut down and gives us enthusiasts a bad rap. But when you have an entire beachfront parking lot blocked off for a huge Sunday car show, why not let everyone enjoy a little fun? The organizers didn't seem to mind, and neither did law enforcement officials (except when drivers continued making noise after leaving the parking lot.) I saw cops go after a few cars, though it's unclear if any citations were issued. For the most part, they simply kept themselves busy by repeatedly telling the gazillion kids with smartphones to stay off the roads.

This annual event is best known for attracting a huge turnout of supercars and hypercars, including many with extensive aftermarket modifications. I'll definitely be posting lots of videos of individual cars in the near future. Meanwhile, enjoy a few minutes of ear-popping automotive shenanigans!
