A white 2023 Rolls-Royce Ghost with silver bonnet and 21" Twin Spoke wheels with pinstripe arriving at Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills.

Spend a few minutes in Beverly Hills and you're sure to catch several examples of the popular Rolls-Royce Ghost. Many owners opt for bespoke paint jobs, flashy wraps, custom wheels, and body kits to make sure their cars don't get lost in the crowd. But the Ghost has always been more of a traditional, stately, old-fashioned luxury car, and that's definitely not a bad thing. Even as its closest competitors - the Bentley Flying Spur and the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class - opt for more modern styling, the Ghost sticks to an upright, boxy design to give it the commanding presence typically associated with the brand's iconic Pantheon grille.

And thanks to the old-money styling, the Ghost looks especially good in a simple but classy spec like this. The contrasting hood is a nod to vintage luxury cars that still works well on this 2023 model. And the tire pinstriping? I was very surprised to discover that it's actually a factory option. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you had to pick any modern car to put them on, this would probably be it. I think they look great and make the entire car pop without being pretentous. Even in a city where Rolls-Royces are so common, this car manages to avoid flashy colors and custom rims and still be uniquely cool - old-fashioned cool, just as the Ghost is meant to be. I'm not surprised the valet drivers gave it a well-deserved spot right in front of the restaurant for all to see!
