Yellow Lamborghini Aventador S (w/ startup)
A yellow Lamborghini Aventador S starting up and leaving Lamborghini Newport Beach's Supercar Show.
If you have trouble keeping track of all the Aventador variants, I don't blame you. After all, the model was produced for over a decade with numerous updates throughout its life cycle. The Aventador S, introduced in 2016, represents the big mid-cycle refresh, with numerous mechanical improvements and visual updates to the base-model car on which all variants from that point on would be based. With a 730-hp V12 engine, a low and sleek design, and the obligatory upward-swinging doors, this was exactly the picture that would come to most people's minds when hearing the word "Lamborghini".
And most people will probably imagine the car in yellow too, as the color has become almost as closely associated with Lamborghini as red is with Ferrari. I've heard varying opinions about the white tire lettering on this example. Personally I think it's a pretty cool touch, though I'd associate it more with a brawny NASCAR racer than with a refined Italian supercar. It looks good with the tinted windows and certainly adds a hint of attitude to what appears to be an otherwise stock car.
What do you think - Does the white tire lettering look good on this car? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
